About ten months ago I woke up one night in severe pain in the area of my sciatic nerve. It took 10-15 minutes to get out of bed because of the pain. During the day, I seemed okay, but at night, the pain was terrible. I didn't do anything for a couple of weeks thinking that it would get better, but it kept getting worse. I ended up sleeping in my recliner for three months. The first therapist that I saw absolutely tortured me. I left in tears and hurt far worse in more places than when I went in. I was aware that sometimes you have to endure some pain to get better but this was excessive, and I was not getting better.

I started going to David Clisch. He was very understanding, asked questions, and actually listened to me. I had an MRI done in the area where the pain was located, but it didn't show any problems. At that point, I was really discouraged and thought I would have to sleep in the recliner for the rest of my life. David was insistent that there was a problem and asked that I get another MRI on a different location in my back. He was correct. The second MRI showed a bulging disk that was pressing against nerves. When he saw that, he immediately told me that he could fix it. We started a new program of exercises, and I did feel better even on that first day. I was amazed at how rapidly I improved under David's care.

I have now been discharged from physical therapy and feel great. The pain is completely gone. Hopefully, I won't have any problems in the future, but if I do, I will definitely go back to him. He is pleasant, understanding, encouraging and patient. He made me laugh when I didn't feel like laughing. Most importantly, he knows what he is doing and does it well. I highly recommend him!
